The Kick-off Meeting of the WOODigital project took place on November 3, 2020, in an online session where the 6 partners of the project from France, Italy, Hungary, Ireland and Spain presented themselves, shared the work methodology and the final objectives of the project.

The project, aimed to improve the digital skills of young Europeans (aged 18-35 years) working in the wood and furniture sector, will first identify these digital skills and competencies.

Then a new joint curriculum will be designed in order to meet these needs, based on this, a training course will be developed (in 5 languages), and, finally, this course will be implemented in a online platform as an open and free online course.

The course will be validated through a pilot course among at least 75 young participants, 25 of whom will participate in a 10 days dual training stay in Italy.
