The third partner meeting of WOODIGITAL project took place on 21-22 October 2021.

After 2 meetings organized online due to the covid-19 pandemic, finally the one scheduled in Milan was the first meeting in the presence of the project.

The partners met in Milan face-to-face, thus being able to work together on the ongoing activities and the next steps of the project.

To ensure its success, the meeting was organized in blended mode, virtually connecting even people who could not physically be in Milan.

The agenda included several discussions on the open activities and those that will open in the coming months. In particular, the development of the contents and training materials of the new digital path were the focus of the first day of work.

The discussion focused on the structure of the learning units and on the development of contents divided between the different partners according to the related knowledge and competences.

On the second day, however, attention shifted to the mobility activities envisaged in the second half of the project and to the development of the platform that will make the training course dedicated to digital skills for the Wood-Furniture sector available online.

The mobility of the project includes a phase of "virtual mobility" which will involve at least 20 students from all the countries involved in the project, for a total of 80 students, and a second phase of "physical mobility", which will allow about 20 students to deepen the contents of the WOODIGITAL course in Italy for a week, through training workshops and visits to different companies and research centers.

More information will be available through the website, http://woodigital.eu.

During the meeting there were also some sessions dedicated to monitoring the quality of the working methods and results of the project, and to the administrative issues.

FederlegnoArredo offered to all the participants a guided tour of the new Design Museum in Milan: a fascinating space to discover the history and legacy of Italian design.

Working in person and being able to discuss face to face was a real pleasure, as well as a further help to the success of the project.

Stay tuned for upcoming news.
