The fourth partner meeting of the WOODigital project took place on 10-11 February 2022 in Lyon, France.

This was the project partners’ second opportunity to meet physically during the project. The meeting was also conducted in a hybrid format for partners who could not physically travel to Lyon. 

The agenda included a multitude of topics from project management; dissemination; quality assurance; an intellectual profile (IO1); an on-line training platform (O2); development of training content (03); to the planning of upcoming key moments for the project (virtual and physical mobilities in Italy and Spain).

On Day 1, partners discussed the development of WOODigital digital platform and the training package, two major pillars of the project. Partners discussed the content within the learning units, finalizing the curriculum, and ensuring the quality of the learning content and the project as a whole.

On Day 2, focus shifted toward the upcoming mobility actions of 2022. Not only will trainers come together for a workshop in Barcelona, but 100 students will take part in a “virtual mobility” and 20 of these students will go on to a second phase of physical mobility in Italy. Other topics of discussion covered various aspects of the project, taking stock of current progress, and getting on the same page before some of the most complex steps of the project begin.

Partners also discussed future Erasmus+ collaboration to continue sharing best practices in the wood and furniture sectors. Stay tuned for what this ambitious consortium does next!

IPRA MEDEF offered participants a guided tour of Lyon, making stops in the city center and weaving through the secret passageways of Lyon’s Old Town before sitting down for a dinner at Lyon’s historic Brasserie Georges.

Working in person allowed partners to enjoy time together in a new city, while also being productive and ensuring the future success of the project.
